Kyra Minturn Sedgwick is one of the famous American screen and television actress. Her name is well-known all over the world, but especially in America, for playing the principal role in the film 'The Closer. Sedgwick was first interested in performing arts, Broadway, and acting at the age of 12 old. Sedgwick was introduced to Broadway by her mother, who was an avid Broadway lover. Sedgwick was the first acting experience in the age of 16 as she was a part of "Another World," which was a TV show. Her first television roles were not big, however Sedgwick was determined to become a well-known actress. The success of Sedgwick in the film resulted in her being cast in other films like 'Heart and Souls, 'Phenomenon,' etc. Sedgwick was a part of Kevin Bacon in a TV show called Lemon Sky. She married Kevin Bacon at 22. Sedgwick's effortless performance in The Closer's seven-season drama" earned her numerous awards, including an Emmy as well as a Golden Globe.
