Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans has only had the one goal in her life that she has always had that she would like to write and sing country music. Evans is quoted as saying, "God has put me on the earth in order to be a singer." That's according to John Meroney from American Enterprise. This is what I am passionate about and the thing I'm going to do. Evans is also hoping to be successful by returning to the traditional style of country music that was popularized by legendary artists like Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. She was also influenced by George Jones, Tammy Wynette and Patty Loveless. Evans, who was born in 1970 made her mark in the latter part of 1990, the time when many of the country music's aspiring musicians turned their attention to pop tunes. It is evident through her debut album in 1997, True Lies. True Lies was not a major success, despite it being highly praised by critics and receiving a 1998 Academy of Country Music nomination for best female singer. Thus, for her follow-up album, 1999's No Place That Far, Evans accepted a plea from producers who persuaded the artist to freshen up her music which eventually earned her the acknowledgement she'd longed for since childhood. Sara Evans was born February 5, 1971, in Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans spent her early years with six siblings.
