JacobRolf Jacob Sartorius, a boy who was born in Oklahoma was raised in Tulsa. Due to his parents being not able to care for the infant shortly after birth and he was subsequently placed for adoption and moved to Virginia. The adoptive parents raised him within Reston, Virginia. He began performing in musicals at age 7. Vine is an American streaming service which offered brief-form videos. In the year 2017, Sartorius' lip-syncing videos were viewed by more than eight million people. A victim of harassment, he felt the internet was his way of escape. In the past, he would say that before Musical.ly did, he wasn't one of the loudest. He believed that everyone was watching him except the camera.
